Jeffrey D. Linton J.D. — Executive VP, General Counsel & Secretary at Quality Systems

Mr. Jeffrey D. Linton, also known as Jeff, J.D. has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Quality Systems, Inc. since December 4, 2017. Mr. Linton served as General Counsel and Secretary of Applied Proteomics, Inc., a company that develops noninvasive, blood-based tests for monitoring and early detection of disease, where he was responsible for all legal, intellectual property, compliance and human resources activities. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Sequenom Inc. since September 10, 2014 until October 2016 and Secretary from March 10, 2014 to October 2016. Mr. Linton served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Beckman Coulter, Inc. from July 2011 to September 2014. In this role, he oversaw all legal, compliance and intellectual property activities for both of Beckman Coulter's Diagnostics and Life Science businesses. He served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Beckman Coulter since 2008. He served as Vice President of Serologicals Corp. since April 2003. He served as the President of Chemicon International Inc., a division of Serologicals Corp. since April 2003 and also served as the President of Upstate Group Inc., its business unit, since July 2005. He served as Vice President of Corporate Business Development, Legal and Public Affairs of Serologicals Corp. from October 2000 to April, 2003, served as Corporate Secretary since September 2001. He assumes the responsibilities as Corporate Vice President, President of Chemicon Division, upon the closing of the Chemicon acquisition. From June 1993 to October 2000, he served in various capacities with Solvay America Inc. companies, served as Vice President of Law, Government and Public Affairs for Solvay Pharmaceuticals Inc., a U.S. component of an international chemical and pharmaceutical group, from April 1999 to October 2000. From December 1996 to April 1999, he served as Vice President of Human Resources of Solvay Automotive Inc., a partner and supplier to automotive companies throughout the world and from June 1993 to December 1996, he served as Staff Attorney of Solvay America Inc., the parent of North American operating subsidiaries of Solvay. Mr. Linton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
