F. Timothy Reese — President & CEO of Mikron at Quanex Building Products Corporation

Mr. F. Timothy Reese, also known as Tim, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Mikron Industries, Inc. at Quanex Building Products Corporation since July 27, 2015. Mr. Reese served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Trex Co. Inc. (Trex Company) from August 2013 to August 17, 2015. Mr. Reese served as Vice President of Operations at Trex Co. Inc. since February 5, 2008. Mr. Reese has 35 years of highly relevant extrusion manufacturing expertise, including successful turnaround situations. Mr. Reese joined Trex after 28 years with DuPont, where he served as Operations Director/Americas of DuPont Teijin Films from March 2007 to January 2008. From 1979 to March 2007, Mr. Reese served in various positions with DuPont, including Global Director, Business and Integrated Operations, DuPont High Performance Films, from November 1995 to November 1998; Director/Plant Manager, Global Operations, Cyrel ?? Packaging Graphics Products, from December 1998 to May 2000; Director, Global Operations and Six Sigma Champion, Cyrel ?? Packaging Graphics Products, from June 2000 to February 2001; and Director/Plant Manager in multiple assignments from March 2001 to February 2007, including in Corporate Operations, Human Resources and DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise. Prior to joining DuPont in 1979, Mr. Reese served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine officer, finishing his five years of military service as a lieutenant. He earned a BS in Ocean Engineering with an emphasis on Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD.
