Mr. Chris Black has been Senior Vice President of Forest Products, Paper and Board Business at Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc since 2017. Mr. Black served as Executive Vice President of Forest Products, Pulp and Paper at Tembec Inc. since October 16, 2013 and served as its Executive Vice President since May 15, 2008 and served as its President of Paper and Pulp Group. Mr. Black began his career in 1983 with Kimberly-Clark Corporation. In 1992, Mr. Black joined Navistar as Director of Marketing and continued in the heavy truck industry in several sales and general management roles until his appointment with Tembec in 2000. Mr. Black served as the President of Paper Group at Tembec Inc since May 15, 2008. Mr. Black is responsible for developing, establishing and executing a strategic business plan for the Tembec Group, along with short and long term objectives. He joined Tembec in 2000 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Newsprint Division and also served as the Senior Vice President of Newsprint Division from November 2004 to June 2008. Mr. Black has 20 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry and strong competencies in finance and marketing. Mr. Black is a Graduate of York University in Toronto with a B.A. in Economics in 1980 and an M.B.A. in Finance from York University in 1982.
