Cary J. Wenthur — Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Realty Income Corporation

Mr. Cary Wenthur has been Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Realty Income Corporation since December 3, 2015. Mr. Wenthur served as Senior Director of Acquisitions and Vice President at Realty Income Corporation since 2003 until December 3rd 2015. Mr. Wenthur served as Co-Head of Retail Acquisitions at Realty Income Corporation. As a Member of the Portfolio Acquisitions department, Mr. Wenthur is primarily responsible for sourcing new transactions that generate the cash flow to pay monthly dividends. Mr. Wenthur works directly with existing tenant groups, private equity firms and other corporations in various industries to assess their real estate and capital needs and provide sale-leaseback structures for clients who are looking to turn the real estate they own into cash that can be used for other purposes. Mr. Wenthur originally joined Realty Income in 1997 and served as an Acquisitions Director prior to being promoted to his current position as Vice President in 2003. Mr. Wenthur served as a Vice President and Loan Officer at a bank, an Appraiser and Loan Officer for a real estate company and began his career in real estate as an Escrow Assistant for a small escrow firm. Mr. Wenthur's 20-plus year career is in commercial real estate finance, which has provided him with the background and expertise that is required to source, underwrite and complete sometimes complicated real estate transactions on behalf of the company. Mr. Wenthur is a Member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers); Member, Association of Corporate Growth; Member, Southern California Golf Association; Licensed real estate sales person, State of California. Mr. Wenthur graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Banking.
