Shannon Jensen — Senior VP, Associate General Counsel & Assistant Secretary at Realty Income Corporation

Ms. Shannon Jensen has been Senior Vice President at Realty Income Corporation since January 2018 and also has been its Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary since 2015. Ms. Jensen served as Vice President at Realty Income Corporation since 2015 until January 2018. Ms. Jensen leads and manages the Acquisitions Legal team in acquiring new real estate assets for Realty Income's real estate portfolio. Ms. Jensen also serves as lead attorney on large or complex acquisitions and legal matters for Portfolio Acquisitions, and oversees the corporate area within the Legal department. She manages document and process infrastructure, and manages and monitors compliance with policies and procedures. After Realty Income acquires new properties, she works with all internal departments to disseminate the information necessary to operate and manage the assets properly. Ms. Jensen assists the General Counsel in the duties of Corporate Secretary. Ms. Jensen joined Realty Income in 2013 as Associate Vice President, and Senior Legal Counsel. Ms. Jensen worked as a Senior Attorney for Latham and Watkins LLP. Her twelve years' experience there provided her with the expertise to address the complex legal issues that arise from owning and managing a large portfolio of commercial real estate. Ms. Jensen represented Realty Income and managed a large team of attorneys in connection with the company's lease and property diligence of the 515 properties that Realty Income acquired in early 2013. She also represented another REIT in connection with its acquisition and leasing of properties over a 5-year period, and represented property owners in developing and leasing shopping centers from the ground up. She is a Member of State Bar of California, Real Property Law Section; San Diego Bar Association; and Counsel of Shopping Centers. Ms. Jensen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Utah, and a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School, cum laude.
