Mr. David B. Atkinson served as an Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. Mr. Atkinson served as an Executive Vice President of RGA Reinsurance Company (RGA Re) of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. since May 1, 2008. Mr. Atkinson served as Chief Executive Officer and President of RGA Reinsurance Company, a subsidiary of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. from 1998 to May 1, 2008. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of RCM, a subsidiary of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. until May 1, 2008. Mr. Atkinson served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. from January 1997 to May 1, 2008. Mr. Atkinson served as an Reinsurance's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Operations from 1994 to 1996 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1993 to 1994. Prior to the formation of RGA, he served as Reinsurance Operations Vice President of General American. Mr. Atkinson joined General American in 1987 as Second Vice President and served as its Vice President. Prior to joining General American, he served as Vice President and Actuary of Atlas Life Insurance Company from 1981 to 1987, as Chief Actuarial Consultant of Cybertek Computer Products from 1979 to 1981, and in a variety of actuarial positions with Occidental Life Insurance Company of California from 1975 to 1979. He served as Vice Chairman of RGA Reinsurance Company of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. since May 1, 2008. He serves as Director of RGA Reinsurance Company of Reinsurance Group of America Inc. He also serves as a Director and officer of several RGA subsidiaries. Mr. Atkinson served as Director of MIB Group, Inc.
