Mr. William A. Smith, II, also known as Will has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. since 2015 and May 15, 2013 respectively. Mr. Smith served as Vice President of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. since May 15, 2013. Mr. Smith served as Senior Vice President of Metals USA Holdings Corp., and its Secretary since August 17, 2009 and Chief Legal Officer. Mr. Smith served as Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Metals USA Inc. and its Secretary since August 2009. Mr. Smith served as Vice President and General Counsel of Metals USA Inc., since August 2009. Mr. Smith served as General Counsel and Vice President of Metals USA Holdings Corp. since August 10, 2009. Prior to joining Metals USA, Mr. Smith served as Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Cross Match Technologies Inc. since July 2005 and as its Director of Corporate Development since September 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Smith was with DLA Piper where he was an Associate and then Partner in the Corporate & Securities practice group. Before joining DLA Piper, Mr. Smith practiced law in Seoul, Korea, where he represented and counseled multinational corporations and engaged in a variety of domestic and international commercial transactions. He serves as a Director of AssureTec Systems, Inc. He is admitted to the bar in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia and is certified by The Florida Bar as an Authorized House Counsel in the State of Florida. Mr. Smith holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and an AB from Georgetown University.
