David C. Djaha serves as a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP. Mr. Djaha focuses his practice on complex acquisitions, dispositions, and asset- and mortgage-backed finance. He advises clients on matters involving capital markets, securitization and mezzanine finance, as well as warehouse lending and construction lending, real estate private equity, and joint ventures. He served as a Partner and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Practice in the Americas at Clifford Chance US, LLP. Mr. Djaha was awarded Euromoney Liquid Real Estate Award for 'Best Real Estate Legal Services USA' (2007). He Co-authored Law360 article titled 'Litigation Risks for Special Servicers,' published April 28, 2009. He is a Member of Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate and Legal Advisory Board - First American Title Insurance Company. Mr. Djaha received his J.D. at Dean's List, Brooklyn Law School in 1988 and B.A. (Communication) at State University of New York at Buffalo in 1985.
