Mr. Winthrop G. Minot, Win is a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP. Mr. Minot is a member of Ropes & Gray's Corporate Department and specializes in private equity transactions and the formation of private equity funds; mergers and acquisitions; and private debt, mezzanine and equity financings in variety of structures, including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. He also has extensive experience with general representation of publicly held companies; public securities offerings; international transactions; and restructurings and workouts. He serves as a Director of Attorney's Liability Assurance Society (Bermuda) Ltd. He is a trustee of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and of the Boston Chamber Music Society. Mr. Minot graduated magna cum laude in Economics from Harvard College in 1973 and magna cum laude in 1979 from Harvard Law School, where he was an Editor of the Harvard Law Review. He also holds an M.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (1975) and an M.P.A. (1979), respectively, from Oxford University and the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
