Mark F. Mai — Executive VP, General Counsel & Company Secretary at Rowan Companies

Mr. Mark F. Mai has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Rowan Companies plc since May 18, 2017. He worked at Thompson & Knight and held positions such as Associate General Counsel and oversaw all its litigation matters, Senior Counsel and was responsible for advising several operating divisions and Corporate Counsel responsible for executing Cooper's merger and acquisition strategy. Mr. Mai started his career at Baker, Brown, Sharman & Parker in Houston specializing in corporate and securities law. He has been an Adjunct Law Professor at The University of Texas School of Law since August 2016. Mr. Mai received his JD from the University of Texas Law School and his BBA with a concentration in Finance from The University of Notre Dame.
