Jason Liberty — Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Royal Caribbean International

Mr. Jason T. Liberty has been the Chief Financial Officer at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. since May 2013 and also serves as its Executive Vice President. Mr. Liberty leads the Royal Caribbea's Treasury, Accounting, Corporate and Strategic Planning, Revenue Planning and Systems, Deployment, Internal Audit and Investor Relations areas. He served as Senior Vice President at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. He served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Finance at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. from September 25, 2012 to May 2013 and he was responsible for overseeing Strategic Planning, Corporate Planning, Investor Relations, Deployment and Treasury functions. He served as Vice President of Audit and Advisory Services at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd since September 13, 2005 and was responsible for auditing operations and monitoring the financial controls of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. He also assisted in developing KPMG's internal control methodology for Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Sarbanes- Oxley implementation. Prior to joining Royal Caribbean, he served as Senior Manager of Risk Advisory Services at KPMG, LLP, a global provider of audit, risk, advisory and tax services. There, he led and performed a wide variety of consulting and auditing engagements for companies including Royal Caribbean. He began his career at KPMG as a staff accountant performing financial audits for mid-tier and Fortune 500 companies. He serves as a Director at The United Kingdom Mutual Steam Ship Assurance Association (Bermuda) Limited. He is graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington and Kelley School of Business. He holds degree in accounting from the University of Miami's School of Business.
