Mr. Lawrence Pimentel, also known as Larry, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Azamara Club Cruises (formerly, Azamara Cruises Inc.) of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. since July 2009. Mr. Pimentel has responsibility for the strategic direction and leadership of the deluxe brand to ensure its continuous growth and success. He served as co-owner, Chief Executive Officer and President of SeaDream Yacht Club, Inc. from 2001 to January 5, 2009. Larry has more than 25 years of travel industry experience catering to the high-end consumer. From April 1991 to February 2001, Mr. Pimentel served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Carnival Corp.'s Seabourn Cruise Line and from May 1998 to February 2001, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Carnival Corp.'s Cunard Line. Larry served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Classic Hawaii. He served as a Director of SeaDream Yacht Club, Inc. from 2001 to January 5, 2009. Among Mr. Pimentel's awards and accomplishments are being selected as one of the 25 most influential travel executives of America, the 2004 Leader in Luxury Award by Travel Agent magazine and the 1998 Travel Industry Executive of the Year, from World Travel Mart.
