David P. Quinlivan — Co-Founder & MD at Saints Capital

Mr. David P. Quinlivan serves as a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Saints Capital. He co-founded Saints Capital's direct secondary activities in 2000. Mr. Quinlivan serves as the Managing Director at Saints Capital Chamonix. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Finance at Insweb. While at InsWeb, Mr. Quinlivan was integrally involved in fundraising efforts, including its initial public offering and played a key role in the areas of corporate development and corporate strategy. Prior to InsWeb, Mr. Quinlivan was an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse First Boston with its Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology Groups, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. At the firm, Mr. Quinlivan advised on domestic and international transactions in the technology, retail, consumer products, chemicals, paper products and manufacturing industries. He worked at the LEK/Alcar Consulting Group providing strategic advice in the consumer technology, media, and healthcare and transportation industries. Mr. Quinlivan serves as a Board Observer of CiDRA. He serves as a Director of Lucix Corporation. Mr. Quinlivan serves as a Director of Xtime Inc., Art.com Inc., Alliance Life Sciences Consulting Group, Inc., Alliance Global, Orametrix and Board Observer of Zazzle and Reply!. Mr. Quinlivan served as a Director of The Motley Fool, LLC since 2005. He is the lead author of published scientific research on the electrical properties of high temperature. Mr. Quinlivan received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, an M.S. in the Physics from UCLA, where he also attended doctoral studies in solid state physics and during this time published research on the electrical properties of high temperature superconductors and a B.A., cum laude, in Physics from Harvard University.
