SJVC is a second-generation, family-run college with 17 campuses throughout California. It offers more than 20 programs in the medical, business, and industrial trade fields.
Between 2018-2020, SJVC helped educate more than 3,500 graduates per year, providing thousands of qualified job candidates to local employers throughout California. As of 2021, SJVC has offered these employers more than 90,000 professionally trained graduates for in-demand jobs in the healthcare and industrial trade fields.
Each of our campuses is an integral part of the community in which it exists. Our campuses have unique identities and reflect the spirit of the local demographic.
SJVC’s community service programs are unique to each campus and provide additional learning opportunities for students. Community support is an important part of the culture and curriculum as each SJVC campus participates in local health fairs providing free services to the community. It helps students become more connected to the community while providing free healthcare services to the local underserved population. SJVC provides an opportunity for students to receive the hands-on experience that directly relates to their classroom instruction.
At no cost to the public, SJVC students and faculty provide:
Health screenings
Flu shots
Blood pressure checks
Height/weight/BMI measurements
Other medical evaluations
