Mr. Troy Young has been the President of Hearst Magazines Digital Media at Hearst Magazines Corporation, Hearst Business Media Corporation, and The Hearst Corporation since May 13, 2013. Mr. Young has been Special Advisor To The Chief Executive Officer at SAY Media, Inc. since July 31, 2012. He served as the President of SAY Media, Inc. until July 31, 2012 and served as its Chief Marketing Officer. He is a Digital Media Executive and Entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in digital publishing and advertising. He joined Say (previously VideoEgg) in its early stages and shaped its corporate, product and brand strategy, built and led the marketing, sales and editorial organizations, and oversaw acquisitions. He developed the content portfolio to include fast-growing brands xoJane, Remodelista and ReadWrite and created a groundbreaking advertising approach and engagement pricing model. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer of VideoEgg, Inc. He began his work in interactive media in 1992 when he worked on the launch and management of the first newspaper-owned online service in Canada. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Experience Officer of Architect at Organic, Inc., one of the world's leading digital marketing agencies since September 2005. He spent his first three years with Organic's building the Canada office. Mr. Young Co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Vickers & Benson Direct, Interactive. Before Say, he served as the Chief Experience Officer of the Omnicom digital agency Organic, advising on strategy and creating award-winning work for clients including American Express, Virgin Mobile, Sirius XM, Chrysler and Bank of America. He has held board and advisory roles with a number of digital media, mobile and commerce companies, including Refinery29'the digital media and e-commerce website in which Hearst is an investor'BuzzMedia (now Spinmedia). He serves as a Director of Interactive Advertising Bureau, Inc. He is a Graduate of the Queen's University Business School.
