Kyle Washington — Co-Founder & Chairman Emeritus at Seaspan Corporation

Mr. Kyle R. Washington is a Co-Founder of Seaspan Corporation. Mr. Washington served as the manager of Seaspan Corporation from July 2005 to 2011. He served as President at Washington Marine Group since September 1998. He was involved with many entities inside the Washington Companies and was also active in developing senior level customer, supplier and government relationships. Mr. Washington was with the Washington Marine Group since 1994. He also worked as an Associate at Batchelder & Partners. He was the President at Seaspan ULC. He serves as the Executive Chairman at CopperLion Capital and Seaspan Marine Corporation. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of SCLL and each of the VesselCos. Mr. Washington has been the Chairman of Seaspan Management Services Limited since July 2005 and also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Washington Marine Group Shipyards. Mr. Washington leads all aspects of CopperLion Capital's management and corporate development. Previously, he served as Chairman of Seaspan Corporation since May 2005 until February 2011 and has been its Co-Chairman since February 2011. He served as Co-Chairman of Seaspan Corporation since February 2011 until July 31, 2017. He served as the Chairman Emeritus of Seaspan Corporation since July 31, 2017. He is engaged in the overall development, business strategy, sustainability and new acquisitions of all Washington Marine Group companies. From 1994 to 2007, he became a member of the management team and subsequently Executive Chairman at Washington Marine Group, where Mr. Washington was responsible for overall corporate strategy and was active in developing senior level customer, supplier and government relationships. He serves as Director of Envirocon, Inc., Modern Machinery Co., Inc., Montana Rail Link, Inc., Montana Resources, Inc., and Southern Railway of British Columbia, Ltd. He serves as also a member of the Board of Directors of Greater China Intermodal Investments, a joint venture between the Washington family, Seaspan Corporation, the Carlyle Group and Tiger Management Limited Mr. Washington serves as a Director on the Board of the Washington Companies. He serves as a Director on a number of company Boards in Canada and the United States. He serves as a Director of BioLytical Laboratories, Washington Business Services, Inc and Washington Canadian Ltd. He served as the Executive Chairman and Director at Seaspan ULC. Mr. Washington was an ambassador to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He is actively involved in a variety of British Columibia's charitable organizations including Basketball BC and the Young Life organization in Oregon. Mr. Washington received a Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Finance Degree from the University of Montana in 1995.
