He served as Senior Vice President of Performance Sensing at Sensata Technologies Holding NV from June 2012 to April 2015 and served as its Senior Vice President of Global Sensors Business since January 2013. Mr. Beringhause served as Senior Vice President of Sensors Asia and The Americas at Sensata Technologies Holding NV since July 20, 2012. He served as the Vice President of Sensors Asia at Sensata Technologies Holding NV from April 2010 to July 20, 2012 and served as its Vice President of Sensors Americas since 2006. He joined Sensata's predecessor company, Texas Instruments, in 1988 and served in various Design Engineering capacities until taking the role as Business Manager of the Occupant Weight Sensor (OWS) Program in 2004. He served as Vice President of Sensors Americas at Sensata Technologies Holding NV since 2006. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA.
