John Tamberlane — Co-Founder and Vice-Chairman at Signature Bank

Mr. John Tamberlane served as the President of the Consumer Financial Services Division of Republic National Bank since January 1996, which he joined in 1980. For more than two years prior thereto, Mr. Tamberlane served as an Executive Vice President of Republic National Bank of New York. Before joining Republic National Bank, Mr. Tamberlane was employed with Bankers Trust for 16 years. As President of Consumer Financial Services Division, He managed the national mortgage banking division, retail broker-dealer division and retail branch network, which became the third largest branch network in the New York metropolitan area prior to its acquisition by HSBC. In this capacity, he was also President of two independent bank subsidiaries of Republic National Bank including Manhattan Savings Bank and Williamsburg Savings Bank. Mr. Tamberlane is Co-Founder of Signature Bank and has been its the Vice Chairman since 2000. Mr. Tamberlane has been the Director of Signature Bank since 2000. He serves as a Director of Signature Securities Group, a subsidiary of Signature Bank. He served as a Director of Republic National Bank of New York, a subsidiary of Republic New york Corporation. since December 1995.
