Mr. Michael J. Maloney, also known as Mike, has been Senior Vice President and Group Director at Signature Bank since April 17, 2017. Mr. Maloney served as Executive Vice President of Sales at Hudson Valley Bank since April 2013. At Sterling, he served as Senior Managing Director and Senior Vice President, where he led a team in Westchester for two years. He spent 30 years in the finance and banking industry, with 24 years at Sterling/Hudson Valley. Mr. Maloney served as the Chief Banking Officer of Hudson Valley Bank, N.A. a subsidiary of Hudson Valley Holding Corp. since October 2005 and also served as its Executive Vice President. From May 2000 to December 2000, Mr. Maloney served as Senior Vice President at Hudson Valley Bank. From January 1999 to May 2000, he served as Vice President and Relationship Manager of the Hudson Valley Bank. From August 1998 to January 1999, Mr. Maloney was an associate with the law firm of Gainsburg & Hirsch in New York City. From January 2001 to October 2005, Mr. Maloney served as an Executive Vice President of Strategic Relationships and Sales of Hudson Valley Bank. Mr. Maloney was previously employed by Hudson Valley Bank from February 1993 to August 1998 as a Credit Analyst and Relationship Manager. He serves as a Director of St. Patrick's Home for the Aged and Infirm in the Bronx. He served as a Director of Hudson Valley Holding Corp. from July 25, 2006 to May 9, 2013. He served as a Director of Hudson Valley Bank from July 25, 2006 to May 9, 2013. He served as Director of the Richmond Children's Center and St. Cabrini Nursing Home. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Economics from Manhattan College. From August 1995 to May 1998, Mr. Maloney attended Brooklyn law school.
