Mr. Robert B. Lewis, also known Bob has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Silgan Holdings Inc. since August 16, 2004. Mr. Lewis has seventeen years of corporate finance experience principally in manufacturing related industries. Mr. Lewis served as the President of Communications Services at Moore Wallace Inc. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Velocity Express Corp., a leading provider of time critical logistics solutions in North America since March 2004. Mr. Lewis served as Co-Chief Financial Officer of Velocity Express Corp., since January 21, 2004 and served as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Lewis served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Burton Management Group LLC, a company formed to make control equity investments in domestic middle market companies with under-utilized assets and ineffective cost structures. He held a series of senior executive positions at Moore Corporation Ltd., initially as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and later as President of Business Communication Services, one of Silgan Holdings Inc.'s Operating Divisions. Prior to joining Moore, Mr. Lewis served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Walter Industries. He served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of World Color LLC (Quebecor World USA Inc.) (formerly, World Color Press Inc.) from December 1998 to August 1999. Prior to this position, Mr. Lewis held the position of Senior Vice President and Controller of Quebecor World USA since December 1997, Vice President and Corporate Controller from August 1997 to December 1997. Mr. Lewis held the position of Vice President, Corporate Accounting from November 1996 until August 1997 and the position of Vice President, Strategic Planning since joining World Color in August 1996. Prior to joining World Color, Mr. Lewis held senior management roles at LP Thebault (a commercial printer) since 1989, as Vice President, Budgetary Operations. Mr. Lewis earned his B.S. in Accounting and Computer Sciences from Rider University.
