Mr. Edward V. Piccinich, also known as Ed, serves as Chief Operating Officer of SL Green Realty Corp. (the Company) since January 1. 2018. He served as Executive Vice President of Operations and Construction of the company until December 31, 2017, where he manages one of the largest portfolios in New York, oversees all redevelopment & capital projects, and underwrites potential new acquisitions. As the head of Property Management & Construction teams in the area, Mr. Piccinich focuses on maintaining high levels of tenant satisfaction within the portfolio, as well as fulfilling the increasing engineering and safety obligations required by the City of New York. Further, under Mr. Piccinich's experienced leadership, SL Green has realized numerous efficiencies in its office towers by developing an electricity-purchasing program, obtaining NYSERDA and NYISO rebates, and replacing mechanical systems with energy saving equipment. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College, Mr. Piccinich is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and has been consulted by national and local periodicals for his views about the real estate industry in New York City.
