Mr. Dharmesh K. Sampat serves as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Sonic Foundry Inc. Mr. Sampat served as Vice President of Engineering at Sonic Foundry Inc. since April 29, 2011 until December 2016. Mr. Sampat joined Sonic Foundry as a Software Design Engineer in October 2001 as part of its acquisition of the Mediasite technology from Carnegie Mellon University, later assuming responsibility for overseeing the design and development of the Mediasite webcasting platform. He has served as Director of Engineering since October 2008. Mr. Sampat holds 20 years of engineering leadership, product design and development and process management expertise in the software industry. Prior to Sonic Foundry, he served as a Technical Lead and Manager at Tata Consultancy Services, India and Mediasite Inc.,focusing on image processing applications, streaming media applications and digital video libraries. Mr. Sampat has a Master's degree in Computer Technology from Mumbai University, Mumbai, India.
