George Uy — Consultant at Sorrento Therapeutics

Mr. George Uy is the Consultant of Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. since August 1, 2015. Mr. Uy served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. until July 31, 2015. Mr. Uy was the Chief Commercial Officer at IgDraSol Inc. He served as the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, where he helped transition Spectrum from development to commercialization, built the commercial organization and launched two successful oncology drugs. Mr. Uy served as Vice President of Marketing, Oncology & Urology Drugs at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., from July 2007 to March 24, 2010. He served as the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, where he helped transition Spectrum from development to commercialization, built the commercial organization and launched two successful oncology drugs. He spent 23 years of increasing management responsibility at Roche, as the U.S. Brand Director for Xeloda (2). He served as Director of Marketing, Proprietary Drug Products of Fresenius Kabi Pharmaceuticals Holding, Inc. since August 2003. He has extensive U.S. and global marketing experience, having worked in various senior marketing capacities within the Roche organization from Basel headquarters in Switzerland to China to the US. Mr. Uy received his B.A. in Medical Technology from the Cebu Institute of Medicine.
