Mr. Kurt A. Gustafson has been the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Executive Vice President of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 3, 2013. Mr. Gustafson served as the Chief Financial Officer of Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. from May 15, 2009 to May 23, 2013 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer and Vice President until May 23, 2013. He served as Vice President of Finance of Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2009 and served as its Secretary. He served as Vice President of Finance at Global Yacht Services, Inc. He joined Halozyme in 2009. He has more than 25 years of diverse experience in corporate finance, with 15 years in senior management roles leading the finance departments of multi-faceted, dynamic and growth oriented biopharmaceutical industry organizations. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Amgen International. He worked at Amgen for over 18 years. As Vice President, Manufacturing Finance, he had financial responsibility for each of Amgen's worldwide manufacturing sites and the Cost Accounting Group. He was responsible for the financial planning, cost accounting, capital planning and procurement activities at each of these sites from 2006 to 2009. From 2004 to 2006, he served as a Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Amgen Europe, responsible for financial planning and accounting for European operations. Stationed in Switzerland, he was responsible for Amgen's International Operations, which spanned Europe, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Australia. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Gustafson headed up Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, as Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, he was responsible for worldwide consolidation of Amgen's forecasts. He also led the Corporate Business Analysis group, which provided financial and decision support to the Product Strategy Teams. From 1991 to 1998, he held multiple positions in Amgen's Treasury group with increasing levels of responsibility, serving as Treasurer, where he oversaw the tax department and the customer finance group. He worked in public accounting as Staff Auditor at Laventhol & Horwath in Chicago. He has been a Director of ChromaDex Corporation since October 21, 2016. He has been a Director of Xencor, Inc. since July 25, 2014. He serves as a Director of Heritage Ministries Management Company, Inc. Mr. Gustafson holds a B.A. degree in Accounting from North Park University in Chicago and an M.B.A from University of California, Los Angeles.
