Mr. English is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, tax, treasury, investments, corporate actuarial, investor relations and corporate facilities. He serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of State Auto Insurance Company of Ohio. Mr. English served as Vice President of State Auto Insurance Company of Ohio. He served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Planning and Head of Business Development & Corporate Development of State Automobile Mutual Insurance Co. Mr. English served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Meridian Insurance Group, Inc. His more than 30-year career includes positions as audit manager for Coopers & Lybrand. He joined Meridian in 2000, he served as Vice President of Planning for Conseco and begun his career with Coopers & Lybrand in 1982. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Columbus Museum of Art. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. English holds the FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) designation. He is a Graduate of Indiana State University.
