Christian B. Gibson — Managing Director at Stifel Financial Corp.

Mr. Christian B. Gibson has been Managing Director of Stifel Financial Corp. since September 7, 2016. Mr. Gibson served as Head of the U.S. Energy group at GMP Securities. He served as Managing Director at Canaccord Genuity. Prior to joining Chiron, he was employed by LSL Partners, L.L.C. as a Vice President. While at LSL, he evaluated all potential investment opportunities and structured and negotiated all transactional documentation for this $100 million energy focused investment partnership. Prior to that, Mr. Gibson was employed as a Senior Associate in the energy investment banking group of RBC Capital Markets where he assisted in marketing and executing financial products and services for exploration and production (E&P), midstream and oilfield service clients. Prior to that, he was employed by Source One Spares, Inc. as Director of Corporate Development. While at Source One, Mr. Gibson was responsible for managing all corporate finance activities and co-managing all accounting, financial reporting and treasury management functions for this multidivisional, commercial aircraft parts distributor. He served as a Director at Chiron Financial since September 2003. Mr. Gibson has more than 20 years of energy investment banking experience to Stifel. To date, Mr. Gibson has been involved in over 50 transactions with an aggregate value excess of $3.0 billion. Mr. Gibson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, with concentrations is Accounting and Finance, from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Gibson also held a Series 7 license with the NASD.
