Mr. Fisher joined Stifel in 2010 following its acquisition of Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc., where he served as Secretary to the Board of Directors. He served as General Counsel at Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc. since May 2005 and served as its Secretary and Managing Director. He also served as the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at Thomas Weisel Asset Management LLC. Dr. Fisher practiced corporate and securities law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from January 1998 to May 2005. Dr. Fisher earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University.
