I love my job, but we are still just a number to the office jockeys who have no idea how difficult being a barman is. Cutting our labour budget to increase their bonus. CONSTANTLY! Oh, and we're paid in less than peanuts!
What makes you most happy at work?
I simply love my job, nothing in specific. Certainly not the pay!
What did you like most about the interview process?
It got personal-ish, during the interview, my manager wanted to get to know me.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The team are always happy to see each other, and we will always make the best out of a bad situation.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
We're all in the same boat, paid practically nothing, but all enjoy our work and we want to see the ship float.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
When new starters are employed at more money than a member of management is being paid, something tells me I'm very undervalued!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Hard working, strong, and loyal. We all know we're expendable and replaceable. Any company can call you "family", but we all know we're underpaid numbers. But that's just what working for a corporation is!
