Charles Boynton — Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Executive Vice President at SunPower Corporation

Mr. Charles D. Boynton, also known as Chuck, has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 8Point3 General Partner LLC, a General Partner of 8point3 Energy Partners LP since March 2015. Mr. Boynton has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at SunPower Corporation since March 21, 2012 and its Principal Accounting Officer since October 2016. He served as Executive Officer of Mondelez International, Inc. Mr. Boynton served as an Acting Chief Financial Officer of SunPower Corporation since March 6, 2012 until March 2012. Mr. Boynton served as the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development SunPower since his joining in June 2010, where he drove strategic investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, field finance and finance, planning and analysis. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of ServiceSource International, Inc. (alternate name, ServiceSource Corporation) from April 2008 to June 2010. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Intelliden Inc. (alternate name, Intelliden Corporation) from March 2004 to April 2008. He has more than 14 years of financial and management experience. He served as Consultant of Commerce One Inc. until June 18, 2004. He served as Chief financial Officer of Commerce One Inc. (formerly, CO Liquidation Inc.) from June 2002 to June 18, 2004 and its Senior Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer until June 18, 2004. He joined Commerce One in November 1999 as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and served as Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance since 2001 and Chief Financial Officer since June 2002. Mr. Boynton held a number of senior finance positions for Kraft Foods, Inc., and gained exposure to sales and marketing through a cross-functional, managerial role. Prior to Kraft Foods, Inc., his experience included management positions in the technology practice at Grant Thornton, LLP and IBM. He is a member of the board of trustees of the San Jose Technology Museum of Innovation. Mr. Boynton is a Certified Public Accountant, State of Illinois and a Member FEI, Silicon Valley Chapter. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA Degree in Accounting from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
