Qun Ge leads Synopsys’ business operations in China. In his role, he establishes strategic partnerships, sets business strategies, and identifies high-impact investments for both the company and the industry through Synopsys’ venture arm.
Under his leadership since his appointment as country manager of China in 2014, Synopsys China has continued to offer solutions that foster sustainable success for customers. The region has evolved to be the company’s fastest-growing market globally. To support the prosperity of customers and the industry, Qun has driven numerous business innovations in China, including establishing the Synopsys China Fund and Wuhan R&D Center.
Qun has more than 20 years of experience in chip design, applications engineering, customer support, sales, and business development in the semiconductor industry. He earned his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
