Raja Tabet is Senior Vice President of the Engineering Excellence Group at Synopsys, where he and his team are responsible for:
Leading corporate infrastructure transformation initiatives and executing on leadership IT operations
Driving Synopsys engineering transformation enabling significant productivity, robustness, and time-to-market advantage in the creation of Synopsys products and solutions
Researching and driving Synopsys’ investment and engagement in the next wave of disruptive technologies including generative AI
Raja has more than 25 years of experience as a business and technical leader in the semiconductor industry, particularly in the networking, data center, and automotive market segments. Prior to Synopsys, he was at Cadence, serving as Corporate Vice President of Emerging Technologies, working on broad-based solutions for various market segments.
He also served for 10 years as Freescale’s Vice President of Software Solutions, creating solution platforms for Freescale’s product lines and launching a successful and rapidly growing and thriving software and services business. Prior to Freescale, Raja was at IBM, and served in a multitude of technical and leadership roles in the company’s Microelectronics Division. He has a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a B.S. degree in Computer Science from SUNY Plattsburg.
