Mr. Simon J. Leopold has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Taubman Centers, Inc. since January 1, 2016 and has been its Treasurer since September 2012. Mr. Leopold served as an Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Treasurer at Taubman Centers, Inc. until January 7th 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. In this role, he has responsibility for the company's capital markets and financing activities as well as financial analysis, asset acquisitions and cash management. He spent 13 years as an investment banker, where Mr. Leopold served as Managing Director in the real estate investment banking groups at Deutsche Bank, KBW and UBS. Earlier in his career, he worked in New York City government in a variety of urban planning and economic development positions in the Office of the Mayor, Department of City Planning and the city's Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Leopold is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A from Yale University's School of Management.
