Mr. William S. Taubman has been the Chief Operating Officer of Taubman Centers Inc since June 2005. Mr. Taubman served as an Acting Head of Leasing at Taubman Centers Inc. from July 2012 to April 2013. His responsibilities include the overall management of the development, leasing and center operations functions at Taubman Centers. He served as an Executive Vice President at Taubman Centers Inc. and its Subsidiary from 1994 to June 2005. Mr. Taubman held various executive positions with the Manager at Taubman Centers since 1994. He has been a Trustee of International Council Of Shopping Centers Inc., since February 1992 where he previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees until May 23, 2011. He has been a Director of Taubman Centers Inc. since 2000. Mr. Taubman serves as a Director of the Detroit Institute of Arts. A Member of ULI and NAREIT, he serves as a Trustee of New Detroit and serves on the board of governors for the Museum of Arts & Design in New York. Mr. Taubman holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Corpus Christi College of Cambridge University, Cambridge, England and is a Graduate of Brown University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy of Religion and Russian Studies.
