Mr. Alan E. Laing serves as the Managing Director of United Kingdom & Ireland at The Sage Group plc. Mr. Laing joined Sage in 2015. Mr. Laing begun his career at Sage as Executive Vice President for Partners and Alliances. He has been Executive Vice President of Homebuilding Operations at Taylor Morrison Home Corporation since January 13, 2016. Mr. Laing served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Orleans Homebuilders, Inc. Mr. Laing served as General Manager of EMEA of Acronis, Inc. and also served as its Vice President of EMEA at since May 2012. Mr. Laing was responsible for developing the Acronis's European sales and channel strategy, leading the EMEA management team and driving overall growth in the region. He was responsible for driving business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia. Mr. Laing served as the Vice President of Pulte Homes Inc. at PulteGroup, Inc. Mr. Laing served as the Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East & Africa at Portal Software Inc. Mr. Laing served as Area Vice President of Western Europe at Avaya. Before Portal Software, Mr. Laing served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mediasurface plc. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Laing assumed several senior management roles at Oracle. He has more than 30 years' experience working in the technology industry in Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Laing graduated from Edinburgh University and before beginning his business leadership career in enterprise software, Mr. Laing practiced as a lawyer in Europe and Asia.
