Mr. Timothy R. Pearson, also known as Tim, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Tesaro, Inc. since May 27, 2014. Mr. Pearson served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Catalyst Health Solutions, Inc., where he led the finance and strategic planning functions. Previously, he served in a number of financial executive roles at MedImmune, the biologics division of AstraZeneca, including the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. During his thirteen year tenure at MedImmue, prior to its acquisition by AstraZenca, Mr. Pearson was involved with commercial launches, marketing partnerships, in-licensing transactions and several acquisitions. Mr. Pearson has more than 20 years of finance and executive leadership experience. He served as the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Catamaran Health Solutions, LLC from August 22, 2011 to July 2, 2012 and served as its Chief Accounting Officer until July 2, 2012. Mr. Pearson served as the Chief Financial Officer of MedImmune LLC since August 2007 and served as its Senior Vice President since September 2008. Mr. Pearson served as Vice President of MedImmune. He joined MedImmune in 1998 and served as its Secretary from 2000 to 2004 and he also worked as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer with responsibility for treasury, corporate finance, tax, risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, internal audit and equity plan administration. He worked at Integrated Health Services, Inc. as Assistant Treasurer, at CIGNA Insurance as Treasury Manager and at First National Bank of Maryland as a Commercial Lending Officer. He has been an Independent Director of Ra Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since May 2016 and GlycoMimetics, Inc. since March 31, 2014. He served as a Director of Xencor, Inc. He is a Member of the MedImmune Executive Team (MET) and is responsible for overseeing MedImmune's financial and accounting obligations. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Pearson holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Loyola College, Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
