Larry Downey — President of North America Specialty Medicines at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited

Mr. Larry Downey has been President of North America Specialty Medicines at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited since April 24, 2013. Mr. Downey served as Chief Executive Officer of Teva Neuroscience Inc. Mr. Downey was an executive at Hoechst Marion Roussel and its predecessor companies, Marion Merrell Dow and Marion Laboratories, for over 23 years, and his career has included management positions in pharmaceutical finance, marketing, and business management, specializing in partnerships and strategic marketing programs. Mr. Downey began his career with Marion Laboratories in 1977. In 1995, when Marion Merrell Dow merged with Hoechst and Roussel Uclaf to become Hoechst Marion Roussel, Mr. Downey was named vice president, North American Business Management. Mr. Downey served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer for Teva Marion Partners from February 1999 to September 1999, when he was permanently named to the position. A graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO, Mr. Downey earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He received a Master's of Business Administration degree, with a focus in marketing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
