Magdy Albert — Group President of Operations at The Middleby Corporation

Mr. Magdy Albert serves as the Group President of Operations at Middleby Corp. Mr. Albert served as an Executive Vice President of Food Processing Group at Middleby Corp. since March 2008. Mr. Albert was responsible for oversight of all business divisions within the Food Processing Group, including Alkar, Rapidpak and MP Equipment and play a critical role in leading the expansion of this business platform. He served as President of Alkar and RapidPak divisions in Lodi at Middleby Corp. since June 2006 and also its Vice President of Operations of Elgin manufacturing facility from June 9, 2003 to June 2006. Mr. Albert joined Middleby in 2003 and served as its Vice President of operations and General Manager of its Middleby Marshall division, based in Elgin, Ill. Prior to joining Middleby, he served as General Manager of the steam division of Vulcan Hart. He came to Middleby from Vulcan Hart, a division of Illinois Tool Works, where he served as General Manager of their steam equipment manufacturing facility and also served in other positions in Operations and Engineering. Mr. Albert is a 25-year veteran of the foodservice equipment industry where he served in several leadership positions in operations and engineering managements. Mr. Albert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.
