Dr. Kenneth R. Pitzer, D.V.M. has been the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Commercial Planning at Theravance Biopharma, Inc. since March 1, 2016. Dr. Pitzer served as a Vice President of Strategic and Commercial Planning of Innoviva, Inc. since January 2008. Dr. Pitzer served as Vice President of Strategic & Commercial Planning of Theravance Biopharma, Inc. since October 2010 until March 01, 2016. Dr. Pitzer joined Theravance in 2002 as Director of New Product Planning and has held various positions in the Commercial Development Department. Prior to joining Theravance, Dr. Pitzer worked at Lederle Laboratories in sales, marketing research and product management from 1989 to 1995 and then at Cygnus, Inc., from 1995 to 2002, ultimately serving as Vice President of Product Management. Dr. Pitzer earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1987 and an M.B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1989.
