Andrew Lee — Executive Vice President of Alliances at Tintri

Mr. Andrew Lee has been Executive Vice President of Alliances at Tintri, Inc. since July 2014. Mr. Lee served as Vice President of Business Development at Cloud Bees, Inc., since March 8, 2012. Mr. Lee led the business development efforts at CloudBees, helping to shape corporate strategy while establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships and alliances to fuel the growth. He serves as an Associate of Advanced Technology Ventures. Mr. Lee served as Principal at Battery Ventures focusing on the enterprise software and infrastructure space, including PaaS. Mr. Lee spent four years at VMware, directing corporate development and leading strategic investment and acquisition initiatives. He served as Director of Strategy and Corporate Business Development at VMware. At VMware, he helped lead the investment in and subsequent acquisition of SpringSource. He led six acquisitions; three early-stage investments with two board observer seats; and a $20 million PIPE in Terremark. Mr. Lee has more than 15 years of experience in business development and strategic alliances within the software infrastructure sector. Mr. Lee also held various product management and sales roles at Intransa, Inc. where he was an Associate with their $400m and $800m funds. He served as Associate at Advanced Technology Ventures where he held venture and mergers and acquisitions advisory positions at Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc. He co-authors www.thewholestack.com.
