Mr. Ian R. Halifax has been Chief Financial Officer of Tintri, Inc. since December 2013. Mr. Halifax served as a Chief Financial Officer of Host Analytics, Inc. since August 22, 2013. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Grass Valley USA, LLC. Mr. Halifax served as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration of Wind River Systems Inc. from January 2007 to January 2011. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Micromuse Inc., from January 17, 2005 to February 2006. Mr. Halifax has more than 25 years of global finance experience. Mr. Halifax oversees all aspects of finance and accounting, including strategic financial planning & analysis, tax, treasury, investor relations and legal affairs. Mr. Halifax served as Rovi Corporation's (formerly Macrovision Corp.) Chief Financial Officer and Secretary from October 1999 to November 29, 2004. Following IBM Corporation's acquisition of Micromuse in February 2006, Mr. Halifax served as a transition executive in IBM's Tivoli Software unit. From February 1999 to September 1999, he served as Chief Financial Officer of S-Vision, a private semiconductor display technology company. From November 1994 to September 1997 he served as Chief Financial Officer for Thomson/Sun Interactive, the predecessor for OpenTV, Inc., a Sun Microsystems/THOMSON multimedia joint venture in the field of interactive TV operating systems. He served as an Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration and Principal Accounting Officer of Macrovision Corp. until November 9, 2004. From October 1997 to January 1999 he was Director, Corporate Transactions for KPMG LLP, providing advisory services to technology companies in the areas of technology licensing, financing and strategic partnering. He also held finance and business development positions at Sun Microsystems in Europe and the United States. Mr. Halifax served as a Vice President of Finance and Administration of Macrovision Corp. since October 1999 and Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration since January 1, 2003. During his tenure at Macrovision, he oversaw a quadrupling of its revenues and was involved in multiple acquisitions. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. Mr. Halifax holds a BA Honors in English from the University of York and an MBA from Henley Management College.
