Toromont Industries Ltd. is the successor corporation to Toromont Industrial Holdings Ltd., which was incorporated under the laws of Canada in 1961. Its name was changed to Toromont Industries Ltd. on April 18, 1974. Toromont Industries Ltd. currently operates through two business segments: the Equipment Group and CIMCO. The Equipment Group includes Caterpillar dealership by revenue and geographic territory in addition to industry-leading rental operations. CIMCO is a market leader in the design, engineering, fabrication and installation of industrial and recreational refrigeration systems. Both groups offer comprehensive product support capabilities.
