Dr. Marco Racanelli serves as a Principal Executive Officer of Jazz Semiconductor, Inc., and Newport Fab LLC. Dr. Racanelli has been Newport Beach Site Manager at Tower Semiconductor Ltd., since April 2014. He has been Senior Vice President, General Manager of US Aerospace & Defense Business Group and Newport Beach Site and General Manager of RF & High Performance Analog Business Group and Aerospace & Defense Business Group at Jazz Semiconductor, Inc. since September 2008. He has been a Senior Vice President and General Manager of RF/High Performance Analog and US Aerospace & Defense Business Groups at Tower Semiconductor Ltd. since September 2008. He has been Newport Beach Site Manager at Tower Semiconductor Ltd. He served as General Manager of Power Business Group at Jazz Technologies, Inc., from June 2012 to March 2016. He held several positions of increasing responsibility with Conexant from January 1999 and served as its Executive Director of Research and Development. He served as Vice President of Technology & Engineering at Jazz Semiconductor Inc. since March 2002. He held several positions at Rockwell Semiconductor since 1996 in the area of technology development where he helped establish industry leadership in SiGe and BiCMOS and MEMS technology and built a strong design support organization. Before joining Conexant, he was an Engineer with Rockwell International, an electronic controls and communications company now named Rockwell Automation, Inc., from June 1996 and an Engineer with Motorola, Inc. from 1991 to 1996. Dr. Racanelli contributed to bipolar, SiGe and SOI development for Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector at Motorola, Inc. He holds a number of patents and has authored or co-authored more than 40 technical publications. He served as a Director of Jazz Technologies, Inc. since September 2008. Dr. Racanelli received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
