Ms. Zmira Shternfeld-Lavie has been Senior Vice President of Process Engineering R&D and General Manager of Transfer, Optimization & Development Process Services Business Unit at Tower Semiconductor Ltd. since March 9, 2016 and 2007 respectively. Ms. Shternfeld-Lavie has been General Manager of Transfer, Optimization & Development Process Services Business Unit (TOPS') at Tower US Holdings Inc. (alternative name Jazz Technologies, Inc.) since October 20, 2015 and its Senior Vice President of Process Engineering R&D since March 08, 2016. Ms. Shternfeld-Lavie has over 20 years experience with Si processing technologies and management in fabrication as well as in the R&D arena. She served as the Head of Process Engineering R&D at Tower Semiconductor Ltd and served as its Vice President of Process Engineering R&D since 2007 until March 9, 2016. She was leading the R&D Process Group, MEMS and managed the process transfer activity with a target of establishing customer specific processes in Tower's fabs. She served as Vice President of Process Engineering R&D at Tower US Holdings Inc. since October 20, 2015. She joined the R&D Group as Thin Film Section Manager when it was established in 1996. Previously, she served at National Semiconductor as Thin Film Process Engineer. She has expertise in thin films metallization and process integration and has several patents within this area. She serves as a Director of TowerJazz Panasonic SEMICONDUCTOR Co., Ltd. Ms. Shternfeld-Lavie received B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Technion, Haifa.
