Dean Patry ā Senior Vice-President of Liquids Pipelines at TransCanada Corporation
Executive Bio
Mr. Dean Patry has been Senior Vice-President of Liquids Pipelines at TransCanada Corporation since February 2017. Mr. Patry has responsibility for the operations, commercial management and growth of TransCanada's Liquids Pipelines Business. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Patry led TransCanada's Business Transformation program for 18 months. In his preceding 19 years with it, he held various commercial and business development related roles, including Vice President of Major Project Development, President of Prince Rupert Gas Transmission and Alaska LNG, Vice-President of U.S. Pipelines Central, Vice-President of Corporate Financial Planning and various commercial positions within TransCanada's Energy (power generation) business, including most recently the position of Vice-President of Acquisitions for five years. Mr. Patry began his career in natural gas marketing at PanCanadian Petroleum in 1994 before joining TransCanada in 1996. Mr. Patry holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
