Ms. Kristine L. Delkus has been Executive Vice-President of Stakeholders & Technical Services and General Counsel at TransCanada Corporation since March 1, 2014 and serves as its Chief Compliance Officer since March 1, 2014. Ms. Delkus serves as Chief Compliance Officer, Executive Vice-President and General Counsel of TransCanada PipeLines Limited. She has overall responsibility for the management of TransCanada's legal and regulatory affairs, internal audit and corporate security. Since joining TransCanada in June 1995, she has held a variety of progressively more senior roles with TransCanada. Prior to March 2014, She served as Senior Vice-President, Pipelines Law and Regulatory Affairs at TransCanada PipeLines. She served as Deputy General Counsel of Pipelines & Regulatory Affairs - Pipelines Division of TransCanada of TC Pipelines LP since September 2006. Ms. Delkus served as Vice-President, Law, Power and Regulatory of TransCanada since July 2001. From June 2006 to September 2006, she served as Vice-President, Pipeline Law and Regulatory Affairs of TransCanada. From December 2005 to June 2006, she served as Vice-President, Law, Gas Transmission of TransCanada. From July 2000 to July 2001, she served as Vice-President, Law, Trading & Business Development. She was Associate General Counsel, U.S. Regulatory Law and North American Pipeline Ventures. From March 1997 to July 2000, she served as Senior Legal Counsel, U.S. Regulatory Law. Prior to coming to TransCanada, she worked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Washington, D.C., where she was a senior associate in the government regulation section of a U.S. national law firm, specializing in energy issues. She represented natural gas, oil and electric industry clients and trade associations before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Department of Energy and in appellate proceedings before the federal circuit courts. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Calgary Airport Authority and the National Chamber Litigation Center (NCLC). She served as a Director of TC PipeLines GP Inc., General Partner of TC Pipelines, LP since November 2003. She served as a Director of TC PipeLines LP, the Canadian Lymphoma Foundation and Junior Achievement for Southern Alberta. She holds bar memberships in New York, Ontario and Alberta. She has a variety of publications to her credit. She is the 1997 TransCanada President's Award recipient for outstanding achievement. She was also named one of Women's Executive Network's Top 100 Women in Canada for 2010. Ms. Delkus holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (with Honours) in Public Administration from Carleton University. She was awarded her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor.
