Mr. Robert F. Beard has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of UGI Utilities Inc. since September 2011. Mr. Beard served as Vice President of Marketing, Rates and Gas Supply at UGI Utilities Inc. from 2010 to 2011. Mr. Beard joined UGI Utilities in 2008 in connection with the acquisition of PPL Gas Utilities Corporation. He has over 20 years experience in the gas utility industry. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Beard served as Vice President of Operations and Engineering of PPL Gas Utilities Corporation and from 2002 to 2006, he also served as Director of Operations and Engineering of PPL Gas Utilities Corporation. He serves as a Director of UGI Utilities Inc. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Management degree from Penn State University.
