Begonya Klumb — Chief Executive Officer of UMB Healthcare Services at UMB Financial Corporation

Ms. Begonya Klumb has been Chief Executive Officer of UMB Healthcare Services, Inc. since June 1, 2015. She brings 20 years of financial industry acumen, leadership, and strong M&A experience to the role. Prior to this position, she held positions at UMB Financial Corporation as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President, Director of Corporate Strategy and Development, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, and Director of Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations. Prior to joining UMB in June 2003, Ms. Klumb worked in New York doing investment banking with Citigroup, consulted with Deloitte in London, worked in Germany for the global manufacturing giant BOSCH, and spent the first years of her career working in the banking industry in Spain. Ms. Klumb served as the Chairperson of the Mattie Rhodes Center board, co-chair of Acad??mie Lafayette's successful $3.5 million capital campaign, former treasurer of the Midwest Christian Counseling Center, and a member of the Central Exchange. She is a member of the Kansas City Ballet, commissioner of Kansas City's Summer Youth Employment Commission. She has received several awards including KC Business Magazine's Influential Women (2014), KC Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business (2015), and American Banker Association's Most Powerful Women in Banking - Top 25 Women to Watch (2015). Ms. Klumb studied economics at the University of Alicante. She completed a master's degree in European Enterprise Management in England and Germany before heading to the US, where she earned an M.B.A. at Yale University in 2003.
