What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team displays excellent communication.
Our leadership team focuses on the work that needs to be done of course, but also cares about the spiritual growth of the employees.
One of the standout aspects of my leadership team is how committed they are to our professional and spiritual growth. I believe this strengthens the university community.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Having dependents college tuition paid for if you are a FT employee is a huge benefit for those in that season of life. The medical benefits are also very good.
The health insurance and PTO are amazing!
The number of vacation days are a great benefit. The recent addition of the week of Christmas off Is much appreciated.
LU offers a very generous PTO package and even provides paid maternity leave.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all excited to be here and believe in the mission.
The emphasis on fellowship is remarkable. Beyond the professional realm, our team recognizes the importance of building relationships. Whether through organized events, team outings, or casual gatherings, there are ample opportunities to connect with fellow staff members.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I cannot speak for all departments, but my department has leadership that acts with integrity and kindness in all that they do. Leadership strives to offer growth opportunities and invests in the employee. The culture is positive and fosters commitment.
The combination of helpful and supportive people, outstanding teamwork, a commitment to professional development, and a culture that values fellowship makes it a truly outstanding workplace.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Getting to know my team members before I joined the team, and being able to interact with them.
What makes you most happy at work?
The transparency and trust that I have with my manager.
