Mr. Ackerman served as Executive Vice President of The Fresh Market, Inc. since June 2013. Mr. Ackerman served Chief Financial Officer of The Fresh Market, Inc. from June 2013 to September 2016. He served as Executive Vice President of Finance at Sealy Corporation since March 18, 2013. Mr. Ackerman served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sealy Corp., an affiliate of Sealy Mattress Company from January 2006 to March 18, 2012 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer until March 18, 2012. Mr. Ackerman served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sealy Mattress Corporation since January 2006. Mr. Ackerman joining Sealy Corp. in January 2006. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Ackerman served as a Vice President of Finance at Dade Behring, Inc. From 1989 to 1997, he served in a variety of finance roles at the Frito-Lay branded snacks division of PepsiCo Inc. Mr. Ackerman holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University.
