Mr. Josh Nelson has been the Chief Financial Officer of Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company since April 2016 and serves as it's Senior Vice President. Mr. Nelson focus on driving financial results as a key strategic partner to corporate and business leaders at Colonial Life and across Unum Group. He is responsible for providing comprehensive financial support, pricing and valuation, and drives value creation and profitability of Colonial Life's business. He joined Unum Group from MetLife, where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of regional markets & sales for group, voluntary and worksite. He held leadership roles in financial planning and analysis at The Hartford and AIG. Mr. Nelson holds a Master's of Business Administration in finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn., and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
